Any Other Relevant Info:
I got her with 3,000 kms on the clock. Weekend summer bike and always garaged. Not a fan of wet riding so she’s only seen a few wet days. Bike has been pampered better than most children. Dyno’d and PCIII mapped by Danny Lyons DLM. 169BHP at the back. Print out to prove. Bike is smooth and quick as fcuk. Delivers awesome power right through the ranges. Only did about 1,500 kms this year so decided to let someone else enjoy her. No rush selling her and will keep her if don’t get close to what I’m asking. Think its fair given the condition of the bike..

De Puniet to replace Laverty at Voltcom Suzuki

De Puniet to replace Laverty at Voltcom Suzuki

Voltcom Suzuki World Superbike newboy will make his debut for the team at next week’s official Jerez test and is keen to make full use as it will be his only time on the bike before the winter ban kicks in.

The Frenchman, who continues his duties as a MotoGP test rider in 2015, will be joined by Briton Alex Lowes as he starts his second year with the team.

“Jerez will be a very important test for me. It is my first time on the Crescent GSX-R1000 and our only test before the winter break. I am hoping for good weather to allow us to work a lot, I am aiming to do everything I can to learn the bike and work with the team to give as much information as I can to build the best bike ready to continue development in January,” said De Puniet.

“I am really excited for next year, my concrete goal is to be ready for Phillip Island and this test is my first step to achieving that.”

confusion over documents

confusion over documents

hello, firstly i would like to apologize for starting a new thread but after reading through as many threads as i could find on several boards i couldnt come up with a definite answer, so i was looking for some clarification.

i am in the process of completely restoring a 1991 3HE FZR 600, all of which is going to plan.. that is apart from the paperwork, which i never enjoyed.

as it stands i have 2 frames to choose from, one fairly rusty one with a V5 without the previous owners signature (payed for an online search and its not reported stolen) OR a recently painted frame without any log book or reg plate, but does have the frame number.

so here are my questions:
-with the frame with no documents, will i have to pay vrt?

-before going to the peace commissioner what forms will i need?

– on a scale of 1-10 whats the chances i will get away without the previous owners signature on the V5?

-over all, would i be better to get the old frame registered with the V5, pay the VRT and just swap the plate to the much nicer frame?

– and last but not lease, when you bring the bike in to pay VRT, does it actually have to work or could i bring it in as a rolling frame?

thanks in advance for any input you might have, and i look forward to share my completed project with all of you in the future.

Radiator service

Radiator service

Hey lads. Did a search and only found info on and gave them a ring but they said they don’t work on curved rads. Anyone out there can help me out?! Need to get this cleaned out and recore only if needed. Willing to travel to the right person. Or is the rad to far gone. Anything before having to replace it.

Ducking the law

Ducking the law

I was in the petrol station earlier today filling up with maxols finest when a squad cage pulled into the pump across the way from me and the boyos got out, prob to go get their donuts.
I watched them out of the corner of my eye while keeping my head down and averted, trying to make myself as inconspicuous as possible ( not easy with my gut ) avoided eye contact and attempted to look respectable, i then worried about going in to pay for the petrol, would they clock me?, could i get in and out without being spotted?

What the fuck am i doing !!!,

i’m fully fookin legal, got me licence, insurance, tax, decent tyres, lights , mirrors, every flaming thing, for fooks sake, talk about habitual behaviour, when i was a young chancer i had to act like that cos i never had everything right, i always had insurance mind but i tended to treat everything else as optional extras, particularly the tax cos i reckoned the bike was lighter and went better without it.
This habit has been ingrained in me for years, ffs – anyway i marched in with the head up and paid for the juice , then i hopped on the bike and ………….broke evry fookin speed limit on the way home – ya see i knew the local plod were safely munching donuts :woots::woots: :thumbsup2:

Anyone else do this kinda stoopid shit, i mean avoiding the cops even tho theres no need, not the speeding thing, thats a given
