FZ1 Tyres

FZ1 Tyres

I need to get new tyres on the FZ1 (Gen 2). The rear tyre that is currently on it are 185. The spec in the user manual states 190, would I be better going back to the 190 or stick to the same that’s on it?

a particulars / tax book question

a particulars / tax book question

Not sure is this the right section but here goes my frame number and engine number for my bike suggest it was manufactured in 1989 – feb 1990 but is registered as a 1992 i know this isnt a huge deal but i would like the 89-90 plate because it would bring the bike closer to the 30 year old mark. Has anyone here had similar issue and is it more hassle than its worth trying to get the 2-3 years onto its age

600 for commute and fuel economy

600 for commute and fuel economy

Howdy, Off the bikes about 3 years and considering going back on for work commute. Currently using 1.8 petrol car so feeling the pinch and with tolls on top of about 70/80 a month bike looking like better option. Have to consider the costs as I have to keep car to pick up and drop young kids. I’m thinking 600 sports as always used sports bikes. Roughly what is a tank of petrol cost and how many miles are you getting from it for any of the 600’s out there cbr, r6, gsxr etc. I know obviously depends how hard you drive it but commute less than 20k one way, no motorway all city driving heavy traffic. Anyone commuting on 600 are you servicing/replacing tyres every few months? thanks all opinions welcome cheers :thumbsup2:
